Roti Bakar Kopitiam at Taman Kheng Tian @ Jelutong, Penang.

There are three Roti Bakar Kopitiam outlets in Penang.
They are located at Ivory Plaza, Penang Times Square and Taman Kheng Tian respectively.
Today, after my lectures, my other half and i traveled all way down to the branch at Taman Kheng Tian.
If you are coming from the Perak Road Fire Station, keep going straight and you may see Old Town Cafe on your right.
After passing through the Old Town Cafe., take the right turning into Lorong Parit Buntar.
Keep traveling in a straight line and in the very end of the road, you may spot the Roti Bakar Kopitiam, on your right hand side.

The place is very cozy, much bigger than the main Ivory Plaza branch.
But, the interior design and decorations are identical.
I had no problem in claiming 30% off my total bill.
There are reported cases of people having trouble in claiming it due to inexperience service crew.

We still preferred the same old things.
They were Seafood Ginger Milk Bee Hoon (RM6.50), deep fried crabstick rolls (RM4.20) and iced Cham (RM2.80).
The Seafood Ginger Milk soup almost completely filled up my bowl.
Although the soup was more dilute, but the taste, the sweetness was still there
It was less oily and the milk added was thinner.
Albeit so many comments have been made, there was not even a drop of soup left in my bowl, yummy!
Next, it was the crabstick rolls.
It was very crispy indeed and the onion, crab meat stuffed inside were nicely-cooked.
The crispy layer was a bit cold, but the content itself was warm and juicy though.
You may choose to go white or go red and in fact, i have chosen both Mayonnaise and Chili sauce.
My brown-coloured drinks was simply awesome.
It was moderately sweet and yet the thick taste of coffee and tea remained there.
Can you see that the poppings occurred spontaneously in the foam?

Last not least, i have tried out something new to me.
It was the Minced Chicken Rice which was priced at 5.90 bucks.
The Minced Chicken was like something between Taiwanese Minced Chicken and our local delicacy, Koay Chiap and it tasted just like five-spice pork rolls, quite Ho Chak!
The dark gravy was just a drier and thicker version of Koay Chiap soup.
Half a spiced corned egg was also given.
The best part was that the chicken and the gravy were both hot.
I spotted a cloud of white smoke, in other words, steam.
Two thumbs up!
