Lunch at Batu Lanchang Market @ Batu Lanchang, Penang.

Penang is labeled as the land of food and it is true that there is an abundance of dining venues there.
I am like suffering from Decidophobia.
I could not choose where and what to have for my meals, as there are delish fine foods everywhere.
Anyway, my selection for the day was the Batu Lanchang Food Court, which is positioned directly opposite to the newly constructed Central Park Condominium.
There is an estimated of at least 50 stalls in the court.
Most of Penang local delicacies can be found there but the tastiness is not guaranteed.

The stall number 8's claim to fame is that they serve very peculiar Chinese Pasembur with jellyfish.
In addition, the sweet potato gravy was full of sweet, sour and hot elements.
The zesty flavours just exploded in my mouth.
Furthermore, the shredded cucumber, turnip, bean curd and fritters were fairly fresh.
However, i found that the Pasembur was not cold enough to be served.
The RM3.70 price tag was quite appropriate, especially counting in the generous amount of jellyfish given.
It certainly is a great savory appetizer.

To counter addiction to Char Kway Teow, you have got me on a mission.
The problem was that there are at least 3 stalls selling this ambrosia.
Luckily, the stall number, 28 still remains vividly in my mind after have gone through some reviews a few days ago.
I have ordered one with duck egg which cost me 3.60 bucks.
An intense spicy and a little bit burnt aroma was immediately sensed.
The rice noodle was partially blanketed with Lilliputian pieces of egg.
The fresh prawns and luscious clams enhanced the taste.
Seriously, it may be eligible to compete for the Best Penang Char Kway Teow spot.

Besides, I have tried out the Lam Mee (RM2.70) there which was not flavoursome.
It tasted so-so and that is why i don't even bother to jot down the stall number.

Lastly, this Sugar Cane Juice was recommended by my other half.
It is sold at a stall which is in the same row with the Pasembur.
The juice was nectarous and was absolutely unsweetened.
There was completely no dilution of the juice, neglecting the ice cubes.
It has a price tag of only 1.20 bucks which makes it an ideal drink to cool yourself down on a hot sunny day.
